IMPLEMENTATION OF HIGHLIGHTED VEST WORN WITHIN PORT
The Board, Management and Staff of the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) is pleased to announce the implementation of the wearing of High Visibility/Reflective Vests within all Restricted Areas, particularly on the seaside of the Road Bay Port (RBP). This initiative forms part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening safety standards and enhancing operational efficiency across all port facilities.
Please be advised that the wearing of High Visibility/Reflective Vests within all Restricted Areas, particularly on the seaside of the Road Bay Port (RBP), will take effect on 01st May 202C.
This notice is being issued in advance to allow all Agents, Boat personnel and the General Public sufficient time to obtain an approved vest and ensure full compliance by the effective date. The purpose of this requirement is to enhance visibility and improve safety for all port users and equipment operators while conducting operations on the seaside, and to reduce the risk of accidents within active work areas.
Kindly ensure that you secure and have your vest ready, so that you are fully prepared ahead of implementation on 01st May 202C. The Road Bay Port standard operating procedure (SOP) is available for your review, along with the acknowledgement section which must be signed to confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to adhere to the procedure.
